Hi Jon, I want to use offline conversions to identify in-store sales. Will Meta only use email, first name, phone number or can we have an external ID or something else in this case? What’s your experience of matching offline and in-store data to see what Meta can do for you?

Moreover if want to identify sales on store, what is the event name to add on csv files? And what wil be this event ?

There is a long list of data you can choose from that can be sent to Meta. You can get a sense of that when you go through the steps of uploading a CSV file, as outlined above. It can include physical address, phone number, date of birth, on and on. Meta will match up these people with those who saw or clicked your ad, just as they would have with online event data.

If the offline, in-store action is a purchase, you should use the purchase event. There is an option when customizing columns (outlined above) to segment the offline purchases.

Hi Jon, thx for sharing this.
Even there is no problem with the CVS, facebook desnt upload them, skipped all rows bcs of server error.
When i use zapier with the same cvs, the upload works fine. But bcs of the volume, i dont want to use zapier, i want to use manuel upload. Do you know why it happens? Thx in advance,

This is incredible, Jon.
My client creates leads campaigns and then closes the sale via telephone.
Today we do not know the real percentage of those potential clients that end up becoming real clients, much less the real ROAS of the campaigns.
We currently use Make (previously known as Integromat), let’s see if we can do this process with that tool. Otherwise we will use Zapier.
