Location targeting is messy, but it has nothing to do with whether you use Advantage+ Audience or not. You will never be able to isolate the people living in a specific area.

If a local business wants to target a geographical area with a pin and a radius around the pin, would the Advantage+ potentially target people who are outside of their serviceable area?

My expectation is that it wouldn’t be much different than using original audiences going broad, which would typically be my approach when promoting local businesses.

Are you sure about that, Denis? Note that this is only for campaigns using the Sales objective. As far as I know, everyone should have this. Audience Segments themselves have been available to everyone for some time since they were initially created for Advantge+ Shopping Campaigns.

Always test and find what works for you. I don’t typically run reach campaigns these days.
